Instructions
If using frozen samosas, deep fry or bake them as per package instructions until golden and crisp. If using freshly made samosas, ensure they are warm and crispy.
Once cooled slightly, cut each samosa into halves or quarters, depending on size, for easier serving.
In a large mixing bowl, combine boiled chickpeas, finely chopped onion, and tomato. Add chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, red chili powder (if using), salt, and lemon juice. Mix well to combine.
To assemble the chaat, arrange the samosa pieces on a serving plate.
Spoon the chickpea and vegetable mixture evenly over the samosas.
Drizzle whisked yogurt generously over the samosa and chickpea mixture.
Add tamarind chutney and mint coriander chutney in dollops or drizzles over the top, balancing sweet, tangy, and spicy notes.
Sprinkle sev evenly for crunch, followed by fresh chopped coriander leaves.
Serve immediately to enjoy the samosas crisp with the moist toppings.
